This is the third year this school has used the Bush Camp for their prefect training and, in the main we had the weather on our side until the very last team task, the gun run!
The 17 students took part in several team tasks designed to bring out the best (and worst) in all of them. They have to communicate, plan, negotiate and cooperate with one another, learning a great deal about themselves and each other while they take part. Day 1 they took part in “Tribes” a task that keeps them on their toes. Day 2, after an in depth, interactive leadership talk by Michael Kingscote, their time at Lydeard Farm finished with the “Toxic Train Challenge” and the “Gunrun.”
