James Bellamy returned recently from a trip to Nepal where he was checking out standards and procedures of all the suppliers, facilities and accommodation which Outposts uses for its expeditions, challenges,  adventure travel and holidays. 

James also trekked an amazing route in the Himalayas: Langtang area (between Everest & the Annapurnas) ... see what he discovered and some amazing photos below.

'All grown up'! Two of the students that Outposts has sponsored over the years: Anil and Rajesh aged 7 (above) and now as teenagers, nearing the end of their education and sponsorship, meeting James!

New Himalyan route for trekkers: Langtang Area to Gompa (Monastery) of Canjin

James is an experienced International Mountain Leader (IML) who has previously led many expeditions to Everest Base Camp in Nepal when he lived there with his wife Fee (Outposts Expeditions Manager). 

Whilst he was in Nepal James took the opportunity to 'recce' (military speak for 'checkout and explore') a new trekking route.  

James reported back that the Langtang route, between Everest and the Annapurnas, is perfect for Outposts to include in clients' itineraries who are seeking new challenges and trekking experiences in a less visited area of the Himalayas.
